Financial Aid

Village Community School believes that a diverse population is an essential aspect of the educational experience and we are committed to making enrollment possible for qualified students who otherwise would not be able to attend our school.  Tuition assistance is awarded each year on the basis of demonstrated need in keeping with our published financial aid guidelines. A significant portion of our annual operating budget is allocated to tuition assistance, benefiting approximately 23% of our student body in any given year.

  • A request for tuition assistance is made at the time of application and notification of aid is given at the time of acceptance.
  • Eligibility for financial aid begins in kindergarten.
  • Applicants for tuition aid must file a Parent Financial Statement (PFS) with the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS) in Princeton, New Jersey.
  • In addition, VCS requires copies of the most recent tax forms and W2’s.
  • The Tuition Assistance Committee makes all financial aid decisions independently of admissions decisions.
  • Parents must reapply for tuition assistance each year.
  • All financial aid applications and grant awards are completely confidential.
  • Divorced and/or separated parents are expected to submit independent financial information.
