Admissions Welcome

Hero Interior

Dear Families,

I am delighted to welcome you to Village Community School.

As you will soon discover, VCS is driven by our Mission to ignite and nurture children’s passion for learning. Our students delve deeply into subject matter through active experiences, making personal connections to the material and meaningfully linking multiple disciplines. VCS’s world-class teaching staff continually challenge students toward greater mastery, creating an environment that is as academically vigorous as it is joyful.

VCS students cultivate empathy and intellectual flexibility by examining topics from multiple perspectives, offering an appreciation for the rich complexities of life. Empathy is essential inside and outside the classroom; our Diversity Statement outlines the importance of diversity to our school’s vitality and affirms that VCS is “an anti-bias community committed to building a more equitable society through our actions.”

Our students stretch to their fullest potential, and VCS graduates depart for the high schools of their choosing with intention, self-confidence and extensive knowledge. To learn more about the ambitious paths of our graduates, see our High School Placement and College Matriculations data.

We look forward to meeting you and discussing your family’s educational goals during our Admissions Process. Please contact the Office of Admissions with any questions you may have.
